Great food and such nice staff the prices are reasonable too for great sushi and sashimi. The tempura vegetables are also Amazing the batter is light and not greasy like other places. Highly recommend visiting, maybe ring to book in advance as there were a lot of reserved tables when we went.
Food was absolutely delicious. Very authentic Japanese cuisine that is very reasonably priced. Small intimate setting with floor seating (Japanese style) or table seating. Menu was extensive with plenty of vegetarian options. Service was immaculate. Definitely recommend, and I will be returning!
The best Takoyaki! We came in on a quiet Tuesday and the server was lovely, the restaurant has lovely decor and very authentic. The food was served within excellent time and did not disappoint, we will absolutely be returning again. Thank you for having us.
Brilliant Restaurant with great food. It’s honestly so much better than mainstream chain restaurants like Wagamama. Plenty of vegan options which was great! Tempura fried vegetables were great!!! Highly recommend it for taste and quality of the food.
This is about as authentic as you can get when it comes to Japanese cuisine and atmosphere. The food is honestly 10/10, I’ve been here with my girlfriend around 5 or 6 times and every time we leave we want to go straight back. They play really soothing Japanese melodies, and have multiple seating options. I’d 100% recommend this to you.
The service at this establishment was impressively fast, and it also came at a reasonable price point. Even though the place was not particularly crowded when we arrived, our orders arrived within mere minutes after we placed them. This promptness added to the overall positive experience. With a hearty thumbs up and my wholehearted recommendation, this place is certainly worth a visit.

Possibly my favourite Japanese restaurant in Birmingham. The interior is small but fits the ascetic well and is decorated beautifully. The food here is delicous and Ive never eaten anything bad in the many times Ive been here. The staff are hard working and helpful and the range of drinks available is great. Menu is reasonably priced, only minor downside is that they are cash only but there's cashpoints close to the restaurant. Highly recommend if you find yourself in or around the Shirley area
